NEWS UPDATE:
Currently, the Massachusetts State House of representatives is reviewing Senate Bill NO 2772 (formerly known as House Bill 3592, and thereafter Senate bill 2735) , go
HERE
for the full text of the actual bill. For those of you who don't have time to read the thirty page document, let me summarize. Tucked away in the depths of this bill is a provision which would outright BAN children of the ages fourteen and under from operating motorcycles and ATVS!!! We're not just talking about situations on state property, but even on your own private property, or a private trail system! If this bill passes as is, it will CRIMINALIZE you for allowing your children to ride a motorized recreational vehicle of any sort! Thats right, jail time!
The organized motorized user groups are working together to tackle this problem as effectively as possible. One way we can do that is spread the word to you folks and encourage you to PLEASE contact your state representatives via phone (preferred), or by U.S. mail, or at least by e-mail (this is the least effective means of communicating with our legislators, please make a phone call if you can!) Here is the information YOU need to find out how to contact your legislator.

Welcome To The NorthEastATVers!
Welcome to the NorthEast ATVers website!
We are a bunch of people that love to ride and promote a good image for the sport. We support work
done throughout the NorthEast in an effort to gain new lands to ride on and preserve the lands we
have. We are currently working to change the image of ATVing in general. Oh yeah, we also like to
bust each others "chops" in the process! Come and join in all the fun!! Head on over to our forum
and post up!
Ride of The Month!
There is a dedicated board in out forum which
has some of our members rides listed in it. Along with pictures of these toys, there is a list of mods associated
with the toy as well. Feel free to breeze on over and
check it out. Better yet,
why don't you submit your toy to Koko, who volunteered his time to administer that board.
Send an email to him with your member name, picture of your ride, and
a list of mods and he will add it to the board!
Each month, we will be featuring one of our riders
toys in this section. It's a great way to meet some of our member, and see what they have for their rides! In future months
we'll be adding a small rider bio as well, so you can get to know rider as well as what they ride!
It is very important that all ATVers do
their part to help change the image of ATVing. One of the best ways to do this is through work parties.
Many times, organizations schedule a day where they go out onto trails and perform maintenance. They clear
blow downs, put in new water bars, clean up garbage, do trail projects, etc. We all hope that every ATV rider
volunteers at least a single day every season to do trail maintenance. Check out these scheduled days on the
Work Party page, and feel free to let us know if there are any other scheduled
trail maintenance days out there!

April 30th, 2006, a few members of the NorthEastATVers joined
up with the Pathfinders Dirtbike Club to open the season with
a work party, clearing the trails, drainning water bars, and
cleanning trash. Thanks to all that helped out! Click here
to check out some pictures from the day!
